Originally launched in 2012. Secret Denim is prized by Denim Heads worldwide for its unparalleled texture. softness. and comfort. Crafted by the master Oishi-San. this fabric is woven at ultra-low tension using extra-thick yarns of three types of cotton on vintage shuttle looms. The result is a sturdy. highly textured fabric with remarkable slub. roughness. and a hairy finish. The warp and weft are sulfur-dyed black. delivering a rich. deep tone that evolves beautifully with wear.

Key premium details elevate the jacket: a custom vegetable-tanned deerskin leather patch. custom engraved black copper doughnut buttons. and a modernized Type III fit featuring practical side-seam and interior pockets.

Fit Notes: Despite being a Japanese jacket. like most ONI garments. we find the sizing of this Type III to be more Western than Japanese. If you usually wear a size M in American jackets. you'll find a suitable fit with this jacket in size 40 (M). However. as always. we recommend consulting our size chart for the perfect fit. The fabric is unsanforized but the jacket has been one-washed to reduce most shrinkage.
